Works as leveling agent during polyester dyeing in jet dyeing m/c 1-2 gpl DTF added to dye bath in beginning holds the disperse dye in bath and after 105°c on ward it slowly liberate the dye and so the ven & level dye is absorbed
by cloth resulting in even dyeing DTF. Also is useful in dye stripping process. DFT is added to reduction & clearing bath at the rate of 4 to 5 gpl at 70 to 80°c for 30 to 40 min.The outstanding dispersing ability on the impurities such as. Wax grease oil as well loosely held dye by the fabric, besides being a strong dispersant, also a protective colloid action. Hence hydrolised dye and impurities would not redeposit on the fabric during washing of dyed & printed goods & resulted in high wash fastness. Also to get impurity free clean cloth. Dose 1 – 2% o.w.f. at 90°c for 20-30min reacto clean CXE is a very good auxiliary for removing the silicate from fabric applied as alkali doner for dye fixation in dyeing or printing.
A cataionic dye fixing agent formaldehyde contain is very low either in combined or in free state used for fixation of reactive or direct dyes on cellulosic fabric and PC PV blends. Doses not impair light fastness of dyeing. Little or no change of dyed or printed shade can be added to after washed dyeing in jigger and or in finish bath for printed cloth. Doses 2 to 5 gpl
